Doodles and Stories

These are some drawings I sketched today.

This one I call, 'In the Moonlight of Hope.'
                                                           This one is, 'Highway, 15.'
And, last, but not least, 'A Blooming Tree.'
Well, I didn't just draw pictures. I also have a poem, (or two) , and a "sneak-peak" into one of my stories!!!

Astounding
Wonderful
Everything
So brilliant
Optimistic
Merry
Exuberant
1 more thing. . .
AWESOME!

It's Winter! The air is frosty, cheeks are red,
Hot Cocoa sipped. I'm warm in bed.
Snowflakes decorate a newly white ground,
So that footprints are left all around.
Hat's on tight! Scarf is j-u-u-u-s-s-s-t-t right,
'Cause,"B-r-r-r! It's cold tonight!"

A breeze wove it's way through Gwen's blonde waves of hair as she stumbled and crunched through the leaves and twigs of the underbrush. She dared not think of what her closest friends, dark haired (and, a boy) Pricen and light-headed Jayne, would say if they found out she slept instead of researched, AGAIN!! Last time Jayne had cornered Gwen in their tree house the three of them built, and asked, Did Gwen care about finding out what is wrong with everyone gossiping about 'something' underneath THEIR school? HUH??!
Well, Gwen did! Haven't they all since kindergarten? And, as Pricen kept reminding the two girls, they were now in fifth grade, their last year at Westman Elementary.
DUHN! DUHN! DU-U-U-HN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

This is Grady and Ram playing snowball fight. Grady, Easton, and Beckham, our neighbors, were at my house because Momma was baby-sitting them. We went sledding, played in the snow, and played inside. It was super fun!                                           This is a video of one of our sledding experiences!                                                               Me and a handsome pose.              Grady. Grady is the oldest in his family. His younger brothers are Easton and Beckam.                                                    Beckam, the cute. Also the youngest.                                                    Emery. We made boots for her.                                                                       Easton.                                                                         Me, again. (This time without a funny face)                                                         Grady, eating snow of a toy.
